Join Paint It Orange in the studio for First Thursday with Lee Nixon.
Lee is an Orange County artist and former Orange County High School art teacher. He is well known for his color filled impressionistic local landscapes that evoke feelings of warrant and are rich in color.
He has a BS in art education from Virginia State University. His work has been exhibited numerous galleries including; the science Museum of Richmond, the Pepco Edison Pl., Gallery in Washington DC, the Walker’s fine arts Center at Woodberry Forest, the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, the Morin Gallery in Orange, the Purcell Gallery in Louisa, and the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Several paintings are part of a permanent display at; the University of Virginia Medical Center, Dogwood village of Orange County, and numerous private collectors.
